ABOUT VIRGINIA WINE WHOLESALERS

The Virginia Wine Wholesalers Association is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation representing Virginia’s independent, family-owned and operated wine distributors. The purpose of the Association is to promote the general welfare of wholesalers of wine and other alcoholic beverages. Wholesalers serve as an essential link in America’s distribution system and provide legal consumers with the choices they desire at affordable prices.

The Association offers a wide range of member services and programs that help wine wholesalers thrive in today’s competitive environment.

VWWA members are the second element of the three-tier system of alcoholic beverage distribution (manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer). They deliver countless brands of wine to your local restaurant, bar, convenience store and grocery outlet. Many of our members also distribute beer, water products, juice drinks, sports drinks, soft drinks and other beverages.
